When the FIFG FootGolf World Cup introduced a women's individual title for the first time in 2018, it was Great Britain's Sophie Brown who claimed it — becoming the first female FootGolf World Cup champion in the sport's history.

The Winning Round

Competing at the tournament in Marrakesh, Morocco (9–16 December 2018), Brown finished her four rounds at 280 — six under par — finishing a clear six shots ahead of the rest of the field.

A Landmark for the Sport

Brown's win was recognised by Guinness World Records as the first FIFG FootGolf World Cup title awarded in the women's category, a milestone moment for the growth of the women's game internationally.
